NHMC Magazine – request for information
From NHMC’s Magazine Editor, Gavin Heseltine:
Could you please circulate the attached to the club members for possible interest and inclusion in future NHMC magazines.
If people are at home with nothing to do then this might provide a pleasant distraction and generate some articles for future magazines.

Introducing the NEW Motorsport UK Learning Hub
Motorsport UK Media email on 31st March 2020:
Motorsport UK is delighted to introduce The Learning Hub – the new, online learning platform for Motorsport UK members.
Whether you are an Official, Competitor, Marshal or Event Organiser, The Learning Hub aims to provide an easy to use and time-efficient online learning experience which will help you enhance your skills and prepare you for the role you have chosen to undertake.
The new platform will enable you to read articles, watch videos, complete knowledge exercises, interactive modules and much more.
We recognise that learning and development is key to our members’ enjoyment of the Sport – and it is imperative that we provide you with the appropriate knowledge and skills in order to carry out your role to the best of your ability. The Learning Hub is just one way in which we are committed to this.
The Learning Hub launched today with content aimed at Officials. Further content will be added each month, including specific content for Marshals, Event Organisers and Competitors.
Simply log in to your Members Area on the Motorsport UK website and follow the instructions from there.
If any members have any questions, please email us at training@motorsportuk.org

April edition of Spotlight (the SD34 Motorsport Group magazine) now available
The April edition of Spotlight (the SD34 Motorsport Group magzine) is now available at http://sd34msg.org.uk/newsletter/
Robert Newlove has forwarded an email from Spotlight’s editor:
The world as we knew it has gone to pot
No Motorsport until July at the soonest and even that might be optimistic
Despite a lot of events being ‘ready to go’ when the ban is lifted it will not be just that simple.
Going to try to keep Spotlight going as long as possible
Need
1) Old reports from Yesteryear – A sort of All Our Yesterdays
2) Future Plans for when this is all over
3) More jokes (there will be more blank spaces to fill)
4) What you are doing to fill the time that has suddenly arrived

Message from Motorsport UK’s CEO – 23 March 2020
A communication from Motorsport UK’s CEO on motorsport and corona virus:
Richard Harrison RIP
From Robert Newlove:
For you older members, you may remember Richard Harrison from Irton near Scarborough, he was involved in lots of events in the forests, sadly he has passed away in York Hospital. I am sure some of you will remember him.
NHMC Warcop Stages (12 April) CANCELLED
In light of the Motorsport UK decision to suspend all organising permits and certificates of exemption until at least 30th April, the NHMC Warcop Stages Rally which was due to take place on Easter Sunday (12th April) is now cancelled.
I don’t think there is any possibility of re-scheduling it to a later date this year, so, we aim for Easter Sunday 2021.
