The ticketing web-site for exhibitor tickets for the Car Show organised by North Humberside Motor Club Ltd at Sewerby Hall and Gardens on behalf of East Riding of Yorkshire Council as part of the 2019 Bridlington Weekend of Motoring is now up and running at Ticket Tailor.
Please see the event’s web-site at http://bridlingtonweekendofmotoring.org.uk/exhibitor-tickets/ for the link to the ticketing web-site.
Tickets are priced at £5 each and they admit the car being shown, the driver, and one passenger.
When applying for a ticket, you will also be asked whether you want to take part in the parade through Bridlington (limited to a maximum of 120 cars). Cars taking part in the parade will be parked at the front of Sewerby Hall. Cars not taking part in the parade will be parked at the back of Sewerby Hall and we shall try to park cars from each club or group together – the ticket application asks what club/group you want to be with.
Please note that these ticket sales are for exhibitors only.
Tickets for admission for the general public should be bought either on the gate on the day or in advance via the Sewerby Hall and Gardens web-site at https://sewerbyhall.co.uk/prices-and-passes/
The ticket price for the general public appears to be £7.90 with a 10% saving if bought on-line in advance.
The list of entries received to date is now on the Sutton upon Derwent Scenic Run’s web page at https://northhumbersidemotorclub.co.uk/classic-run/scenic-run/
This event may be of interest to members with classic cars. Although organised by EYTCC it is open to non-members.

From NHMC’s Chief Marshal:
I have noticed my fellow stage commanders have already sent out requests even at this early stage for this year’s Rally Yorkshire.
So thought I had better join them.
North Humberside are running Langdale once again, however this year’s it’s the first stage on Saturday morning 28th September, that is SS2.
Provisional timings show the first car at Langdale is 09:34 so provisionally latest signing on will be 07:45 is and hopefully finished by around 11.30.
Although it will be tight it might be possible for people to come to us and then may be go to the last stage which is Dalby.
I know it’s rather early for a definite commitment but indications of who will be available would be useful.
Thanks
John

Regs for the rally are now available on the website:
http://www.valeofyorkstagesrally.co.uk/
I would normally send you the document itself, but I’m on holiday in Devon
where the Caravan Club site’s wi fi can’t cope with a group email with a
large file size attachment. It’s all the adverts which defeat it!
Entries are now open.
Thank you in advance for your involvement with the rally.
Kind regards
Len Fowkes
Secretary of the Meeting

ISLE OF AXHOLME LIONS CLUB CLASSIC CAR SHOW & AUTOJUMBLE
SUNDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2019 – THE SHOWGROUND, EPWORTH, DONCASTER
I am delighted to be able to send you details of our first ever Classic Car Show and Autojumble, taking place on Sunday 1st September at the Showground, Epworth, Doncaster, and organised by the Isle of Axholme Lions Club
Interest in the first IOAL Classic Car Show and Autojumble is proving to be very high amongst car exhibitors and trade stall holders of many types – auto-related, general merchandise, children’s entertainment and caterers. This will make for a fun day out for all the family
All proceeds from the show will be going to the Air Ambulance service and we are especially excited that the air ambulance helicopter is scheduled to land at the showground during the course of the day. This is of course unless the ambulance is required to attend an emergency.
To enter please complete the attached booking form and return it to the address shown on the form, together with a cheque for £5 for each car entry and with a stamped self-addressed envelope.
Nearer the time we shall send you more details about the show, directions to the ground and your car pass, of course.
Please contact me by phone (01427 752076) or email me if you need any further information at this stage.
Please do pass these details to your members and to any other friends who might like to exhibit at this show.
With kind regards
Peter Lindley

Email received by our Chief Marshal:
Can you circulate your marshals list please?
Richard Elms
As many of you may know a lot of investment has been put into Melbourne Airfield by the three clubs that run events on the venue.
Two events have now run successfully and some further improvements are still being made. Lindholme MSC are running the Vale of York Stages, the third event, on 8th September 2019.
As in the past I would be grateful for any offers to marshal covering radio, Start and Stop line crews and, just as importantly, in stage marshals. We cannot run without your help. We would prefer that the majority of marshals are registered with Motorsport UK however non-registered marshals will be made equally as welcome and will be paired up with registered marshals.
It is our intention to run 8 stages. Signing on will be in the usual location from around 06:45. There is a slight change to the marshals ‘goodies’ this year as we will be providing a breakfast voucher for each marshal who signs on, these will be valid for a bacon buttie and drink at the catering facilities that will be on site. There will also be the usual marshals prize draw.
If you are able to help out this year can you please let me know at elmsr52@gmail.com. When contacting me please let me have a scan or picture of your marshals registration card, details of your preferred role and, if radio, your callsign. Also can radio crew please let me know if they are single or double manned as this will help greatly with our planning.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards
Richard
