Subject: Fw: MARSHALS PLEASE – Fulbeck, Near Newark – W&DMC’s John Hickling Memorial Stages – Sunday 3rd August 2025

As you know, any successful rally requires an army of marshals to cover timing, radios, and in-stage duties.

The support we’ve had from everyone for the past two years has been fantastic and I’d love to welcome you all to Fulbeck on the 3rd August to help run our rather special 2025 event, which has been named The John Hickling Memorial Stages Rally in tribute to our former Clerk of the Course who tragically passed away the week after the 2024 event.

Firstly my apologies for this late invitation to this BRMC led rally radio training day.

I appreciate that it may appear ‘last minute’, but confirmation only came through shortly before I sent this invitation out.

As it says – places are available on a ‘ first-come, first-served basis ‘ so get your applications in quickly !

I’m only the messenger – so please don’t direct your criticism at me, if you are unsuccessful in gaining a place on the training day !.

Hi, Donna,

Thanks for this. I’ve sent out an email to BRMC NE Rally Marshals, so hopefully, you’ll hear from them soon. I’ve no idea what response you’ll get, but I’m sure you’ll have a full – course, with a possible reserve list. Keep me updated, if possible.

Hi,

I’d like to invite you to join us at Fulbeck on 4th May for the Lincoln Green Stages. I have ordered the sunshine but I cannot guarantee the supplier will come through with the goods. As usual we will provide a full day of exciting competition having spent a lot of time, effort and money trying to improve the venue for everyone in the last year. Catering has been booked as well, we will have our usual marshals draw too.

Access will be via the main entrance as usual,

If you are able to help out this year please contact me on ChiefMarshal@lincolngreenstages.co.uk or elmsr52@gmail.com. Please pass on this information to any of your friends or club members who might wish to help us out.

As always, we rely on a large number of marshals and other volunteers to be safe and successful and we’re very grateful for your support and commitment.

Please remember you’ll need to renew your Motorsport UK Marshal Registration for 2025.  Newcomers to marshalling can complete their Registered Marshal Accreditation on the Motorsport UK website via this LINK.

Regards
Richard
