MGCC (East Yorkshire) Autumn Run – Sunday 23rd September

From Robert Newlove:

I have been asked to forward details of the latest MGCC run as follows:

The East Yorkshire branch of M G Car Club will hold their final classic and sports car Autumn Run on Sunday September 23rd.

The aim being to introduce roads that may be unfamiliar, and vistas that would normally not be seen.

There are a choice of 2 routes – long 110 miles and short 60 miles . The longer taking crews up to West of Whitby, the shorter to the West of Scarborough. The start at noon is from the hosts and principal sponsors J H Foreman Ltd, Station Garage, Hutton Cranswick, near Driffield, where hot refreshments will be available, and the finish is at The Black Swan, Brandesburton, from 4pm, where car enthusiasts are always made to feel at home.

All classic and sports cars are welcome, but prior entry must be reserved by email to Christine Moore (camoctagon@gmail.com).

The route is described on a ‘Tulip’ format, and tuition and advice on how to follow it can be available free of charge prior to the start, for anyone unfamiliar with this method of route explanation.
