From Lindsay Burnip (ANECCC Vice chair):
Good evening,
Just a quick update on behalf of the ANECCC.
Our new website has gone live, huge thanks to Cat Lund for her help with this. We are looking for articles and information to go on the website and I would appreciate your help with this. (if you send photos, please can you include the name of the photographer.) The web address is www.aneccc.org
I am aware that there are a few bit still to update, and I’m working on that. (It’s unlikely there will be any changes prior to the weekend.)
A list of rallies that need marshalling support, is below.
If you have any questions/queries about the association, I am looking after the email comms until we can find a new secretary. Volunteers will be welcomed!
Many thanks,
Lindsay
Marshalling update
Good evening Everyone,
It’s gloriously sunny here today. . .
It was less sunny on the Berwick Classic on Sunday! Berwick and District Motor Club would like to pass on their thanks to everyone who marshalled across the weekend.
We’re rapidly approaching the Border Counties Rally. We’ve had a great response to our request for marshals, and are looking forward to seeing you in Jedburgh. Marshal information has been sent out, if you haven’t received it please contact Craig Fisher directly.
My next event (after the Border Counties) is the Tunnock’s Scottish Summer Hill Rally which runs on the weekend of the 7th and 8th of June, and is based at Thirlestane Castle in Lauder. You don’t need any previous experience of hill rallies, it’s very similar to rally marshalling. Nor do you need a 4 x4. Camping is available, free of charge, to all marshals. If you can help, I would love to hear from you. My email is staffing
Craig’s next event is the Dunoon Presents Argyll Rally. It takes place over the 20th/21st of June. Criag is the Chief Marshal, and is looking for marshals in all disciplines. You can volunteer via www.rallystageteam.co.uk or by contacting Craig directly. More information can be found at argyllrally.co.uk
There are obviously other events taking place. . .
The Pendragon Stages takes place on Sunday 11th May. If you would like to volunteer please email pendragonmarshals@outlook.com
The Borders Competitions Jim Clark Rally and Reivers Rally takes place from the 23rd – 25th May, based in Duns.
Marshals in all disciplines are needed across the three days. If you are able to help please either complete the form, or contact Sue Hutchinson directly via email marshals@jimclarkrally.co.uk
