ANECCC Contactless Timing Training – 22 April 2021

From ANECCC:

Although the strictness of Covid 19 regulations may be being eased, there is still a requirement to reduce or erase handling of items including timecard etc.

The Contactless Timing Training session on Thursday 22nd April is ideal to understand the practical elements of timing without handling paperwork. Ideal for Stage Commanders, stage teams, timing marshals, start & stop radio crews as well as safety car crews.

Lookout Stages Rally – 11 July 2021

From John Newlove:

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the non-availability of parts of the venue because of electrical work on the transmission lines during April we have decided to run the Lookout Stages later in the year rather than on our traditional April date.

Hence we are intending to run this year’s Lookout on Sunday July 11th, Government and Motorsport UK regulations permitting.

Harold Palin Memorial Rally – 2 May 2021

From Simon & Kathy Rolph, Eastwood & District Motor Club’s Chief Marshals:

Just wanted to drop you all a quick update on the Harold Palin Memorial rally scheduled to take place at Fulbeck airfield on Sunday 2nd May 2021.

At the moment we are still intending to run the event as planned, however, like the rest of the country we are eagerly awaiting the Prime Minister’s updates on how and when lockdown restrictions will be lifted and what this means for running rally events.

As and when we have more information we will share it with you and will be sending out requests for staffing as soon as we know more.

Thank you for being supporters of the Eastwood and District Motor Club events and if you have any questions, please just ask!

Hopefully we can all get to take part in some safe and much needed motorsport this year.

Take care everyone and I’ll be in touch again soon.

Kindest Regards
Simon and Kathy
