Dennis Pelling RIP – funeral details and some memories

The funeral for Dennis Pelling will be at 15:30 on 10th January 2019 at Haltemprice Crematorium.

It is with great sadness that I heard of the death of a very dear friend Dennis Pelling whom I shared many hours with as his rally co-driver.

Just heard old NHMC member Dennis Pelling died on Christmas Eve. He had been diagnosed with leukemia only 2 weeks ago!

Riponian Rally – 10 February 2019

From our Chief Marshal:

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas, whilst I have a minute I need to start planning for our stage on the Riponian Rally on Sunday 10th February.

I don’t have any timings as such yet but looks like the stage is running twice but one after the other. We are stages 4 & 5 so I anticipate not a too early start.

Thank you for everyone who has volunteered so far, I seem to be doing OK for radios, but need either a stop line crew or a flying finish crew, as well as lots of in-stage marshals.

Best wishes for the New Year and thanks for everyone’s help in 2018.

November Autotest re-scheduled to 9th December

As I have had no feedback to my E mail, I have decided to move the November Autotest to Sunday 9^th December. The event clashed with the York Clubday event. We will use the same regulations already sent out, just change the date.

Riponian Rally 10 February 2019 – NHMC running Cropton stage

North Humberside Motor Club will be running the Cropton Stage on the return of this event on Sunday 10^th February,
