ANECCC Update

From ANECCC:

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Prudhoe last Thursday for our association AGM. We were pleased to welcome John Ryan and Polly Dedman from Motorsport UK. We will circulate an overview of their presentation and question answers shortly.

I’ve attached an updated date list, the regulations for Durham’s autotest, the information for ‘One for Frank’ Illuminations Tour and the quiz invitation from Whickham and District Motor Club.

Stage Commander training dates, Event Safety Officer and Spectator Safety Officer training have been released. Clerks of the Course, Stage Commanders and Grade 3 marshals should have had this information already. If anyone is interested in attending the training they need to be recommended by a Clerk of the Course.

Any questions, any info, anything to be added to the website, please let me know.

Kind regards,

Lindsay Burnip
Vice-Chair
Association of North East and Cumbria Car Clubs

East Yorkshire Lotus Owners Club get together – 16 May 2026

From the East Yorkshire Lotus Owners Club:

As we all know pubs in general are struggling at this time.

The Nags Head at Routh (HU17 9SL) has been the home of our club’s meeting venue for the past 6 years.

The new manager is a  keen older and interesting car enthusiast. He would like to hold an event at the venue on the 16th May.

It is open to all.

The venue has a large car park and there are no charges.

We need to support those that support us and I wondered if you would kindly invite your members to attend.

It will be from 12 noon.

Food and Refreshments will be available

Many thanks
Stuart, Admin EYLOC
