Membership renewals for 2023 now available

North Humberside Motor Club membership renewals for 2023 are now available.

The easiest way to renew you membership is to use the form on the NHMC web-site (at https://northhumbersidemotorclub.co.uk/nhmc-membership-renewal-2023/).

The cheapest way for NHMC to receive your subscription is by bank transfer.

As part of the new membership system we shall be recording both members in Joint memberships and all members in Family memberships so that we have a true record of the number of members of the club, so if your membership is a Joint or Family membership, please give the names of the other people in this membership.

If you can’t complete the form on the NHMC web-site, then a PDF (with fillable fields) is available on the NHMC web-site (at https://northhumbersidemotorclub.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/2023-Renewal-letter-GDPR_new.pdf) – you can fill this in (please open it in Adobe Reader to ensure the fillable fields work), and then email it back to the Membership Secretary, or you can print it, fill it in by hand, and post it back to the Membership Secretary.

Finally, you can renew your membership by seeing the Membership Secretary in person at a club night. He expects to be at the first club night in 2023 (on 5th January) for those who wish to renew their membership in person with Dennis.

Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

David James

2023 memberships

We are moving NHMC’s membership records from a system that has served us since 2010 to a new system.

Whilst the 2023 membership renewal form is now on NHMC’s web-site, I ask you to please hold off renewing your 2023 membership until further notice – I need to get the Membership Secretary fully up to speed with the new system before he has lots of renewals to process.

As part of the new system, we shall be issuing “electronic/digital” membership cards which will be delivered to you in email as a PDF. The intention is that

  • you can upload this membership card for any event using remote documentation,
  • you can save it on a smart phone to show to any event using in-person documentation,
  • you can print it (and it is sized to be the same size as the previous membership receipts), or,
  • if you really want, you can ask the Membership Secretary to issue you with an old-style membership receipt.

Again as part of the new membership system we shall be recording both members in Joint memberships and all members in Family memberships so that we have a true record of the number of members of the club.

A few words on payments – our bank now charges us to deposit cheques, so if you possibly can, please  pay by bank transfer – that costs nothing to us or to you.

The Membership Secretary expects to be at the first club night in 2023 (on 5th January) for those who wish to renew their membership in person with Dennis.
