From Robert Newlove:
Just a reminder, that the next Monthly Meeting at the Ferguson Fawsitt is next Thursday 5th May, hopefully we can get some of us there a bit earlier about 8.0pm, we meet in the room behind the bar, it used to be called the snug.
On another note we need help with the setting up of Melbourne Airfield, the John Overend is on Sunday 19th June, so we need help on Friday and Saturday, 17th and 18th June. Please can you contact Robert Newlove (email@example.com 07764 140205) or John Dixon (01964 562001 firstname.lastname@example.org)
From John Dixon:
As I appear to have secured a run on the Sheffield and Hallamshire Leconfield event (May 1st), I now require a co- driver, Qualifications in order of importance,
1) A sense of humour,
2) Current safety kit, overalls helmet HANS, etc. and licence,
3) Know left from right (your way, my way, might do),
Still lots to do to car still working on it, need to sort car passport, etc., so a start is not 100% certain but thought I would put request out now.
Please E mail John at email@example.com
From Robert & Gail Newlove:
We have received this notice regarding the Harold Palin Stages Rally on Fullbeck.
Can we also remind anyone wishing to score points in the NHMC Club Rally championship, that they need to claim points using the form available on the club website.

Important News Flash from Eastwood & DMC –
Harold Palin Stages Rally Sunday 1st May 2022 – on behalf of the Committee and the Organising Team, I regret to announce that due to a variety of conspiring issues including a date clash with another event on another venue and ongoing heavy farming equipment work on our venue, the Club has made the sad decision to cancel the HP Stages for 2022.
We still shall be running the ever popular Phoenix Stages at Fulbeck on Sunday 7th August 2022 and we look forward to welcoming you all for a full entry and lots of Marshals, to a great days motorsport. Thank you.
North Humberside Motor Club Limited regrets to announce the cancellation of the 2022 NHMC Warcop Stages Rally which was scheduled for Easter Sunday, 17th April 2022.
Following the unexpected death just before Christmas of Gavin Heseltine, a key member of our organising team, we have looked carefully at our manpower to run this event. In addition to the loss of Gavin, another key member of the team is not available this Easter and two other members of the team are unlikely to be available because of work commitments.
This leaves us too short of senior organisers to be able to promote an event of the quality we always strive to provide and we have decided it is better to cancel than to run a sub-standard event.
We plan to run the NHMC Warcop Stages on Easter Sunday 2023.
Clerk of the Course, NHMC Warcop Stages

From Dennis Robinson …
Can all members with radios, Alpha Radios and Management Radios please let Dennis know what you have and if you are not using yours on the NHMC Cadwell Stages Rally on 21st November, can you arrange to get them to Dennis.
From John Newlove:
Although I have not seen any information I understand that the Malton Forest Rally will be going ahead on the 7th November.
We usually help Elizabeth on Gale Rigg, I have asked her for some details.
Chris Andrews who ran Langdale on Rally Yorkshire is also running Langdale on Malton and has also asked for help.
Please let me know if you are available and which stage you would like to volunteer for.
I will send out more details when I have them

Lombard Rally Newcastle
Following the allocation of permit (no. 121448) by Motorsport UK, the organisers are now able to release more information concerning the above event.
The event is based at Tughall Airfield (also known as Brunton) and is a stage rally demonstration day consisting of 6 stages each approximately 3.7 miles long. The stages are predominantly tarmac, with only one short section of about 400 metres of broken tar and gravel. There will be NO timing of the stages. North Humberside Motor Club Ltd announce entries will open at 20:00 on Thursday 29th April 2021 for the John Overend Memorial Stages Rally and the Melbourne Junior Rally at Melbourne airfield near York (30th May 2021).
Following our recent surveys of the venue, we find that due to additional work taking place and planned repairs of winter frost damage not having been completed we do not expect to be able to run more than 30 miles, unfortunately this does not reduce the event costs.
The link to the on-line entries system will be on the NHMC web-site at https://northhumbersidemotorclub.co.uk/rallies/john-overend-memorial-rally/
From John Newlove:
